NSW Tour/FUSE/Adelaide Festival Closing Night

Now 2012′s here it’s time to start the ride all over again. We’ve got some kick ass shows coming up in the next month so make sure to stock up on energy and begin stretching out those post holiday muscles because it’s party time all over again. We are hitting Sydney on the 17th and 18th of February at The Fitzroy Hotel (17th Feb/Windsor)and The Beresford Hotel (18th Feb/Sydney).

After that we hit Adelaide playing the FUSE Showcase on Thursday 23rd at Fowlers Live. With bands like Lyla/Like Leaves and many more you know it will be a big one so make sure you’re ready.

Next on the list is playing the Adelaide Festival Closing Night at the Adelaide Festival Centre (Barrio) on March 18th. Free tickets and a huge party…there is nothing about this situation that we don’t like.TICKET

We came…we saw…we slept for about a week afterwards. So now that the dust has finally settled we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all the people that made our launch possible, our amazing sound and lighting crew, our awesome event management team, the wonderful ladies (and gentleman) behind the bar, the merch and door crew, our brilliant friends at The Kings, AJ Sounds and everyone that helped with the set up and pack down. It’s safe to say WE COULDN’T HAVE PULLED THIS OFF WITHOUT YOU! But most of all everybody that supported us by coming to the show. You guys/gals were incredible and we hope you had as much fun as we did. You made what could of been a Vanilla Ice show turn into Purple Rain.

So what next? Well, the EP’s out and about town causing trouble and getting in peoples faces. If you see it around just approach it and purchase a copy. It just needs a friend. We also have our last Adelaide gig for a while at Fowlers Live on Saturday November 5th with Tijuana Cartel, so if you’d like to catch us one more time before we head off interstate for touring, then this will be the time. That and Tijuana Cartel are awesome!

‘Animal’ EP Launch Oct 22nd

Parklife has come and gone and it was incredible. Like a one night stand from a seedy bar we’ve woken up sick, drousy with very little recollection of what happened the night before. But we do know whatever happened was totally insane. Thank you Parklife, we know you won’t call again and we’re pretty sure you stole ten bucks from our wallet on the way out but damn you were good!

Now that the seediness has worn off we’re ready to party again but this time…lets go a bit harder. It’s now only 10 days until ‘Animal’ is unleashed and after all the blood, sweat and screaming we’ve put into this we are ready to blow the roof off The Queens Theatre. Remember to grab your tickets quick because last time they were harder to get than parole for OJ Simpson. So grab a ticket, stock up on energy bars and maybe tell your loved ones that if they don’t hear from you for a week not to worry because when we send this puppy out into the world we’re going to make damn sure it goes out loud and scary.

Giving birth is tough. It’s painful, you have weird cravings for foods that should never be mixed and once the kid pops out everybody wants to see it. Well we are proud to announce the virtual birth of our 8 pound 9 ounce behemoth child Astronaut. So why not drop in pay us a visit and celebrate before the kid grows up to take all our money and constantly blame us for being the reason they turned out so messed up. We are staying at the Triple J Unearthed Hospital don’t bring any gifts, just give it a listen and maybe drop a review if you’ve got the time.

So good. I love Festivals because you go thinking “killer, i get to see ‘this dude’ and ‘that band’, but it’s always ‘i wonder what they’ll be like’ that I enjoy most. This year Nero, The Naked and Famous, Death from Above and The Streets got up in our grill and we didn’t mind. I love the shit out people that make cool as shit cos they think its cool and we all dig it. Maybe if you’ve got something bubbling on your back-burner its time to whoop it out and show a homie? Never know, they might be wondering what you’ll be like?…….See you at Soundwave? Sounds like the ultimate heavy 90s party!
